I'm documenting my progress, sharing my projects, and learning in public.
Hi! I'm Jibril Abdulazeez, a 23-year-old aspiring game developer based in Dublin, Ireland. I'm passionate about crafting engaging interactive experiences and bringing digital worlds to life.
My journey combines a strong technical foundation from my BSc in Computer Science (TU Dublin, Tallaght) with a creative and user-centered approach gained through my current MSc in Creative Digital Media & UX (TU Dublin, Grangegorman). This unique blend allows me to tackle both the programming challenges and the design intricacies involved in game development.
I'm particularly fascinated by implementing novel gameplay mechanics. I enjoy the entire process, from initial concept to polished product.
This website serves as my portfolio and a chronicle of my game development journey as I learn, build, and work towards my goal of contributing my skills to the exciting game industry.
"Knock Knock" is a first-person psychological horror game proof of concept where you're alone in your apartment with mysterious visitors knocking at your door. Players must decide whether to open the door to safe characters or ignore dangerous "mimics" by using the peephole and analysing voice lines. The game creates tension through uncertainty and consequences for each decision. I got my friends to record some unique lines!
A text-based adventure game with branching narratives, player choices, and multiple endings.
